Practice: I started working in high school and I will do it for the rest of my life. The gym is my second home. High endorphin relieves stress and alters negative mind states. Exercise tells your cells that they should grow instead of decomposing. If you do not take the time to exercise, you must take the time to do the sickness.
Diet: How and what we eat affects our bodies (inside and outside), energy, mood. It is important to follow a healthy diet most of the time and to "cheat" from time to time. I am currently under 3 kilograms of my high school weight and plan to be in this range for the rest of my life.
Meditation: Once you experience the benefits of meditation, you will not be able to live without it. You will really want to. You become more intuitive and are able to stay calm in stressful situations. If I do not have the opportunity to meditate, I'm not as peaceful and grounded as I like to be.
Religious / spiritual foundation: Believing in a higher power gives us strength in good and bad times. This motivates us when we come from our ego and reminds us that we are spirits in a material world. My weekly Buddhist class always brings me back to earth if I start to take myself seriously.
Sleep: Most people need a minimum of 7 hours of sleep. Your body needs to renew itself at night. If you regularly have trouble sleeping, do things on this list and you will find that you will be able to sleep more easily.
A Passion: I love, love, love my weekly, Latin dance classes. I would not miss it for the world. I am in a childish state the whole class - joking and laughing. You must have something to hope for every week that makes your mind sing. Find your passion. Music: When you start taking life too seriously, you can change mood instantly by listening to music that moves you. If you dread, play something optimistic. I used to play relaxing music in the background at home - this instantly changes the whole atmosphere.
Reading: Just like your body, you have to feed your mind. You become more attractive when you read well and can conduct an interesting and intelligent conversation. I am addicted to reading and, therefore, I can talk to anyone about almost anything.
Significant Conversations: I have a ton of friends but I get the chance to have 3 great friends with whom I can talk about everything and they actively listen and give me honest, intelligent feedback. We all need someone to talk to - it is much cheaper than therapy.
Dorloter: Life, it is the equilibrium. You must take care of the body, mind and soul also. When you feel stressed, take care of yourself. Sometimes a luxurious bubble bath with music and candles is all you need.
Massage: This is generally considered a luxury, but I believe that is a necessity. The benefits of massage range from improved immune system to improved joint flexibility and everything in between. If you do not have the means to do it regularly, go to a massage school where the rates are much lower.
Love: Love is all around you. It can come from anywhere - a romantic partner, a parent, a brother, a friend, a neighbor, a pet or nature. Be as open to giving it as you receive it.
